After a crazy time at the Calgary Stampede it was time to unwind in the city of Edmonton, 3 hours north of Calgary. We have a good friend that lives there so it was a perfect opportunity to check out another Albertan city.  We hadn’t heard too many good things about Edmonton from most Canadians…

This is one of the events in Canada that I dreamed of attending as soon as I heard about it.  All that country music, dancing, rodeo, day drinking – bliss.  We flew into Calgary to meet up with our friends Tim and Sam to spend the weekend catching up and getting amongst all the festivities….
